For walks focused on landscapes and wildlife, the route therefore combines a manageable length with a clearly defined natural setting.

The 12-kilometre ’t Pad van Zus hiking trail leads through the forest in Garderen, including the Speulderbos. On the Boeschoten estate, it passes a sheep shelter with picnic tables. Approximately halfway along the trail lies the Gat van Zus, which was formed during the Ice Age. The trail thus combines forest sections with a striking landscape feature and a simple opportunity to take a break. The picnic tables provide a designated resting point, while the Gat van Zus offers a special connection to the formation of the landscape.

Klimbos Garderen offers a climbing challenge at heights of up to 25 metres. On the Netventure children's course, children aged four and over can play and climb. The different heights can be understood as graduated levels of challenge.

The buildings also add their own distinctive features. Molen De Hoop is still in operation. Molen De Hoop was built in 1852 to replace a wooden mill from 1700 that had burned down, and it was put into operation in March 1853. The tower of the Hervormde Kerk in Garderen is a square brick tower with narrow pointed-arch and round-arch niches in a Romanesque Revival design. A simple recessed spire from the 18th century stands on the bell chamber. At the church, the Romanesque Revival niche forms and the plain 18th-century spire can be viewed together directly.
