Chiampo between sanctuary and craftsmanship

The Stations of the Cross, the Via Crucis in the sanctuary of Chiampo, was inaugurated in 1989. Life-size bronze statues define its stations. The route runs for 560 metres through a botanical park covering approximately 18,000 square metres and featuring more than 700 plant species. Those who enjoy walking will find a clearly defined cultural and natural element to include in their day’s plans. Depending on your preferred pace, you can experience the Stations of the Cross as a contemplative visit or as a longer walk through the park.

Museum and regional specialities

The Museo Francescano “P. Aurelio Menin” is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 11:30 and from 15:00 to 17:30. These fixed time slots can be taken into account when planning a day of culture. In addition, Chiampo is associated with the traditional production of leather, red marble and woodwork.

Villa Chiericati is also one of the town’s cultural highlights. It is an elegant Renaissance villa associated with Chiampo.
