Codogne' combines historic buildings, routes and cultural events. The UNESCO cultural landscape Commitment Zone of the Colline del Prosecco di Conegliano e Valdobbiadene forms the broader landscape context. Codognè belongs to this zone, which lies outside the core and buffer zones and provides additional protection for the rural landscape, particularly its vineyards. Art and Historic Sites

Villa Toderini dates from the early 18th century and is attributed to the Paduan architect Girolamo Frigimelica. In Codognè, the walking route passes by the 18th-century villa. Architectural history becomes a tangible stop along the route here.

The walking route begins at the Biblioteca di Codognè on Piazzale G. Ancillotto. It includes the ancient chapel of San Crisostomo, believed to date from the 10th century, and one variant leads to the ancient church of San Clemente, believed to date from the 9th century. Another variant leads via Cimetta to the church of San Ulderico. The church preserves a painting by Palma il Giovane depicting Saint Ulderich and other saints.

In the Roverbasso district, the walking route leads to Villa Rosa and the church of Santa Maria Assunta del Palù. Villa Rosa houses the headquarters of an agricultural business that has passed down the art of farming through generations.

In Borgo Chiesa, the walking route leads to the parish church of Sant’Andrea, which contains a fresco attributed to Francesco Da Milano. One variant also leads into the delle Prese area near the Resteja cascades. This places sacred art and a section of the route associated with water alongside each other as distinct highlights.

A fresco dating from between 1505 and 1540 was uncovered in Codogne', when Francesco da Milano was active in the Veneto and Friuli under the name Francesco Pagani. Codogne' also contains an 18th-century altarpiece depicting the Madonna, Saint Roch and Saint Andrew.

Events and Trip Planning

The CJF Music Festival provides a distinct highlight. It is a recurring event in Codognè’s central park and combines music with art, culture, sport and leisure. From 2 July to 4 July 2026, three days of music, energy and shared experiences were scheduled to take place there. This date offers a different travel idea from exploring the historic sites.
