Hiking trails on Monte Tezio

The starting point of the “Sentiero 1: Cima Monte Tezio” is at the car park at the foot of Parco di Monte Tezio. If you are coming from Perugia or Magione, pass through Colle Umberto I towards Umbertide and, after about 500 metres, turn right at the green space by the school buildings. This approximate indication is intended to help with orientation around the trailhead and should not be expanded into an exact distance measurement.

On the “Sentiero 3: Le Neviere” hiking trail, after the forest you will have a view of Lake Trasimeno and the Amiata and Cetona mountains. Along the same trail, you can also see the remains of the old “Neviere” at an altitude of 917 m. Another trail option, the “7. Anello di Monte Tezio” circular route, starts in Colle Umberto.
