The historic Church of San Maurizio on the hill near Tregiovo was consecrated in 1512; construction of the new Church of San Maurizio began in 1788. The church contains an altarpiece depicting the Madonna and Child by Mattia Lampi. The new church preserves and displays a Stations of the Cross from the Lampi workshop. A fresco of Saint Florian is located above the entrance portal of Maso Siban.

The Campanile di Tregiovo stands in isolation in the meadows above the village, separate from its church, on the Dosso di San Maurizio, where the old church dedicated to the same saint once stood. The site also preserves the campanile, as well as the remains of the foundations and churchyard of the old church.

Traditions throughout the year

Several traditional events are part of village life. In Tregiovo, the Madonna del Rosario procession traditionally takes place every year on the first Sunday in October. The Corpus Christi celebration traditionally takes place every year in the first half of June on the village's central streets. Local tradition also includes the Sagra di San Maurizio on 22 September. This is followed by the Feast of Saint Lucia on the night of 12 to 13 December.
