The Trifterweg St. Pankraz is a circular trail of around 3.8 kilometres from the historic village centre, following the Falschauer Gorge. The St. Pankraz Nature Trail leads across the slopes and ends below Eschenlohe Castle. This cultural and nature hike, around 6.3 kilometres long, follows narrow forest paths and gentle meadow trails and features 16 interactive information boards about the local flora, native wildlife and the geology of the valley. The mountain tour to Hochjoch is an easy hike without technical difficulties. The hike to Mariolberg Alpine Pasture begins above St. Pankraz near St. Helena and follows hiking trails No. 5 and No. 9.

At Mariolberg Alpine Pasture, visitors are served traditional mountain-hut dishes and dairy products made at the pasture, such as cheese and yoghurt. Mariolberg Alpine Pasture is very easily accessible by bicycle via the forest road. Pankraz Reservoir lies about 2.5 kilometres above St. Pankraz at an altitude of 809 metres and is the lowest-lying as well as the second-largest reservoir in the valley.
