Vöran combines a spiritual trail, sweeping views and small observations of nature with a route that leads from Mölten via Wargerhof and Bacher Farm Tavern into the village. The Family Contemplation Trail, Beimsteinknott, the Knottnkino, the parish church of St. Nicholas and Bruggen Pond each offer a different focus.

Contemplation between Forests and Meadows

The Family Contemplation Trail in Vöran is a spiritual hiking trail with nine stations for reflecting on life, faith and family. The contemplation points designed and created by Oswald Kröss encourage mindful walking, silence, reflection and prayer. In this way, the trail combines movement through the landscape with moments of pause and gives space to the themes explored along the route. In addition to the experience of the landscape, the nine stations provide the walk with a spiritual framework.

The Family Contemplation Trail begins at the end of the crafts zone in Vöran/Aschl, leads through forests and meadows, and ends at St. Anne’s Church in Aschl. The change between the starting point in Vöran/Aschl, the route through the landscape and the destination in Aschl shapes the orientation along this trail. The trail is accessible to people with disabilities, well signposted and open year-round.

Trails to Knott and Views of the Adige Valley

Beimsteinknott can be reached on foot via a hiking trail. From the Knottnkino, the view extends across the entire Adige Valley to Texel Group Nature Park, Penegal and Weißhorn. The view from the Knottnkino expands the spiritual focus with a landscape perspective.

Another route leads from Mölten via Hiking Trail No. 13, Wargerhof and Bacher Farm Tavern into the village of Vöran. The trail therefore follows a clear connection between the starting point in Mölten and the arrival in Vöran, with Wargerhof and Bacher Farm Tavern serving as points along the route.

Church and Pond in Vöran

The parish church of St. Nicholas in Vöran is one of the oldest churches on the Tschögglberg mountain. The parish church complements Vöran’s spiritual themes with a connection to the history of the Tschögglberg.

Bruggen Pond: Water and Summer Life

The small Bruggen Pond lies below Leadner Alm in Vöran. In summer, the pond provides an ideal habitat for small fish, frogs, toads and dragonflies. The body of water is therefore a distinct natural feature in Vöran’s landscape, directing attention to water and animal life.

Bruggen Pond can be reached from the “Vöran Sports Field” bus stop via Trail No. 16 in approximately 35 minutes. The hike “To Bruggen Pond” is easy, family-friendly and in some sections can even be completed with a stroller. For this trail, both the starting point at the bus stop and the approximate duration and easy character of the route are therefore established. The approximate duration, the easy nature of the trail and the fact that it is partly accessible with a stroller provide concrete parameters for planning the day.
