The Monte Tuttavista mountain is located in the immediate vicinity of Galtellì. Sa Preda Istampada, a natural landmark at an altitude of 635 metres, lies on this mountain. Its defining feature is a 40-metre-wide opening in a rock face, formed by wind and rain. The beaches of Spiaggia di Su Barone, Cala Osalla di Dorgali and Spiaggia Cala Cartoe are also located around Galtellì. According to legend, this Christ was credited with sweating blood and performing numerous miracles between 1612 and 1667. You can see the ruins of Castello di Pontes when approaching from Nuoro via the SS 129 towards Orosei, on the right-hand side before reaching Galtellì. Restoration work uncovered sections of the circular defensive wall, an outer defensive structure, a corner tower and several partly underground cisterns.

The Sa Domo 'e sos Marras Museum is housed in a restored, two-storey mansion dating from the 18th century. It preserves machines and tools from agriculture and livestock farming, including a horizontal wooden loom and a grape-pomace press. In autumn and winter, the museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 16:00 to 19:00. In spring and summer, visits are possible from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00.

Galtellì also has a distinctive musical tradition: spontaneous performances of Sos Tenores (Canto a Tenore) still take place quite frequently. This art form has been recognised by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage. On Holy Thursday, the local tradition also has a culinary expression: as part of the brotherhood tradition, people eat sa Corona, a round loaf with a large cross in the centre and numerous artichokes around the sides.
