Waterfall and short trail to the Cascata di Noaschetta

A low-difficulty trail leads from the parish church to the Cascata di Noaschetta in around 15 minutes. The trail is marked and easy to walk. Its route is particularly impressive: the access path passes behind the waterfall and under a cave. The Cascata di Noaschetta itself is 32 m high and is formed by the Noaschetta stream.

Le Forme del Paesaggio: Understanding the landscape

The Le Forme del Paesaggio visitor centre in Noasca houses a permanent exhibition on the geomorphology of Gran Paradiso National Park. The centre is located on the second floor of the town hall and can be reached by stairs or lift.

Le Forme del Paesaggio also explores the connection between the shape of the landscape and the habits of ibex, chamois, marmots and eagles. Children can follow an illustrated comic-style tour. In the adjoining screening room, documentaries produced in the park are shown. This makes it possible to combine observing nature, learning and child-friendly discovery. The visitor centre can therefore provide a distinct focus for families alongside the outdoor trails.

Hamlets, waterways and trails in the Vallone del Roc

The Via delle Frazioni alte – Vallone del Roc leads through the hamlets of Crestet, Varda and Maison. Along this route, you can also admire a waterfall cascading down from the Roc stream. The combination of small settlements and landscape gives the trail its own character and draws attention to the transitions between inhabited areas and mountain terrain.

The route to the Bivacco Giraudo passes through an impressive high-mountain landscape. In the Noasca area, the Sentiero del Re is also one of the attractions. In Borgata Maison, the old school in the Vallone del Roc is located at an altitude of around 1,600 m. These destinations complement the waterfall and visitor centre with further aspects: they range from trails through hamlets to high-altitude landscapes and show how varied a stay in Noasca can be.

Holiday apartment in Noasca based on your travel interests

When choosing a holiday apartment in Noasca, you can therefore first consider which experiences should shape your holiday. The short, marked trail to the Cascata di Noaschetta represents a manageable natural attraction. Le Forme del Paesaggio combines geomorphology, wildlife, a children’s programme and documentaries. The trails through Crestet, Varda and Maison, as well as the route to the Bivacco Giraudo, offer different points of focus. This allows you to choose accommodation in Noasca according to your preferred pace and the topics you would like to discover together.
