Between the Town and the Oglio Riverbanks

Cycling through Rudiano

The Pontoglio–Orzinuovi cycling route reaches Rudiano via Via Lavoro ed Industria. Within the town, it continues along Via Europa and Via della Rocca towards the Oglio River. Church Interior and Organ Art

The Chiesa della Natività di Maria Vergine was built between the 17th and 18th centuries. Its single-nave interior contains valuable side altars; the church is fully decorated and adorned with frescoes. The barrel vault is also frescoed. The furnishings also include an organ by the Serassi organ-building company from Bergamo. It was made between 1825 and 1827. The Zona del Castello

The Zona del Castello is the oldest part of Rudiano. It lies behind the main church, is approximately semicircular in shape and is situated higher than the rest of the built-up area. This elevated position spatially distinguishes the old part of the town from the rest of built-up Rudiano.
