Culture and history
In the Mőcsény-Zsibrik district, at 28 Petőfi Sándor Street, stands a half-timbered house of German settlers that is under heritage protection. The protection of this half-timbered house serves to preserve an example of 18th-century building technology.
The former settlement of Zsibrik is now part of Mőcsény. An organ from the 18th century, which possesses exceptional artistic value, comes from Zsibrik’s former Evangelical Lutheran church.
The Néprajzi Gyűjtemény in Mőcsény is a museum. It comprises textiles, clothing, furniture, and kitchen and pantry items belonging to the local Catholic Germans, the Bukovina Germans and Transylvanian Szeklers, as well as Hungarians from Upper Hungary. Mőcsény also has the Szent-Anna Chapel, also known as the Palatinca Chapel, which was built in 1814.
The Roman Catholic church stands on a hill and dominates the village from afar. A Roman Catholic church in the Völgység was built in the Baroque style in 1767 and is a listed building. The cemetery surrounding the Roman Catholic church is still in use.

The Juhhodály-völgy geological outcrop near Mőcsény (Pz-03) is designated a natural monument. A documented hiking route runs along the ridge between Szálka and Mőcsény to Mőcsény railway station. The Dél-dunántúli Piros Túra is mentioned as a hiking movement connected with the surrounding area.
In the immediate vicinity of Mőcsény, the Szálka Reservoir can be circumnavigated on marked hiking trails; part of the southern area is suitable for cycling.

The old railway embankment in the area of the Szálka Reservoir is used in the immediate vicinity of Mőcsény mainly by anglers and picnickers.
Transport
Mőcsény railway station has neither a ticket office nor ticket sales. MÁV line 5426 is designated as the Szekszárd–Szálka–Mőcsény–Bonyhád connection.
