Nature
The Borókás nature trail in the Barcsi borókás has three stations, is 5 kilometres long and presents the characteristic flora and fauna of the sandy puszta of Inner Somogy.
The Dráva Kapu Visitor Centre in Drávaszentes presents the natural and cultural-historical values of the protected areas along the Dráva. The centre also offers programmes, lectures and guided tours. The approximately 3-kilometre-long Üde-rétek nature trail starts there and ends at a birdwatching tower in a wetland.
Water
The section of the Dráva between river kilometres 149 and 162 is suitable for water sports. The renovated port of Barcs is the starting point for numerous water tours on the Dráva. Organised Dráva water tours take place from mid-March to mid-September.
The Drávai szabadstrand is a designated bathing lake or open-water bathing area. Its park-like grounds offer opportunities for sports, cooking and camping; on the Hungarian section of the Dráva, it is the only designated open-water bathing area.
Cycling
The asphalt cycle path from Barcs to Drávatamási is 2.3 metres wide and 9 kilometres long; there is a rest area along the route. Barcs is also the central location of the 230-kilometre Hungarian section of the “Három folyó Nemzetközi Kerékpártúra”.
In the area of the Duna-Dráva National Park, day hikes and cycling tours in the vicinity of Barcs are offered year-round. Equipment and trained tour guides are available for these activities.

Recreation
The Barcsi Gyógyfürdő uses 55 °C warm sodium bicarbonate water that reaches the surface from a depth of 1,317 metres and is particularly suitable for treating musculoskeletal complaints and inflammation.
The Barcsi Gyógyfürdő is open year-round and has six indoor pools and one outdoor pool. In summer, three additional seasonal pools are available.
Culture
The Dráva Museum collects ethnographic and historical material from Barcs, the Dráva region and the municipalities of the former Barcs district. It has permanent and temporary exhibitions that welcome visitors.
In addition to its religious function, the Roman Catholic church in Barcs is increasingly also used as a venue for secular events and concerts.
