Geographical Location

Súr is located in Komárom-Esztergom County, in the Kisbér District, in the southern part of the county between Mór, Kisbér and Zirc.

Nature

A fishing lake lies in the valley of the Fekete-berki stream, approximately 1.5 kilometres northeast of Súr town centre.

Súr lies in the valleys of the Súri-patak and Kőrisberki-ér. Hills lie to the east; the rural landscape comprises forests, pastures and arable land.

Orientation

The main road through Súr follows Road 8208 between Bakonycsernye and Mezőörs. Súr is 16 kilometres from Mór, 18 kilometres from Kisbér and 21 kilometres from Zirc.

Súr-Szőlőhegy lies approximately three kilometres southwest of the centre; Csatárpuszta is about two kilometres farther west.
