Schwarzburg Castle and Regional History

The Haflinger stud farm in Meura offers equestrian and driving sports, as well as carriage rides. The municipality describes it as the largest Haflinger stud farm in Europe. In Sitzendorf, a visitor attraction featuring a demonstration street offers the chance to watch the artisanal production of delicate porcelain figurines. A historic event date is also associated with these themes: on 26 and 27 April 2014, the 16th Sitzendorf Steam Rally took place in Sitzendorf, where more than 50 steam model enthusiasts presented their models.
