One notable technical monument is HESCHO’s 40-kW high-power measuring transmitter. It has been included in the list of objects worthy of protection and is located at its original site on the ground floor of a building now used as a medical centre, at Eisenberger Straße 81. Tours of the transmitter are available, with technical explanations. If required, an insulator flashover can also be demonstrated there using a 100-kV AC system.
