The Dachwig Village Museum is housed in a simple half-timbered building constructed in 1802. Dachwig Reservoir: fishing and scenery

Dachwig Reservoir is located in the area between Dachwig and Großfahner. Fishing is permitted along designated sections of the shore: approximately 700 metres to the left of the dam and approximately 300 metres to the right, as far as the Grenzgraben inlet, on the right-hand side of the old post road. Both distances are approximate; the information also distinguishes between the two sides of the shore. Fishing is subject to posted restrictions and permit requirements.

The reservoir is designated as a Flora-Fauna-Habitat area and an EC bird protection area. Check the current legal boundaries of the protected areas before planning specific activities. From the northeastern slope near Dachwig, there are sweeping views across the lake and the Fahner Land. At the same time, a clear restriction applies: camping at the reservoir is strictly prohibited, whether in tents and screen tents of any size or in motorhomes and caravans.
