The Molfsee Open-Air Museum presents the everyday and cultural history of rural Schleswig-Holstein. Nature and Trails

The Molfsee Open-Air Museum is located on the eastern edge of Westensee Nature Park. The Eider Valley is a glacially formed cultural landscape; approximately 350 hectares of land are maintained through extensive grazing. Konik horses and Heck cattle can be observed from the Eider Valley Trail.

The Eider Valley Trail is suitable for off-road cycling and is equipped with information boards, benches and shelters. Bus connections and the Flintbek and Bordesholm railway stations provide access by public transport along the Eider Valley Trail.
