It connects already signposted sections of the Oder-Neiße-Radweg, the Froschradweg and regional tours. The heath and pond landscape of Upper Lusatia in Silesia is part of the Neißelandtour.

Travelling by public transport from Görlitz to Niesky can involve taking a train to Horka followed by regular bus connections towards Niesky.

Culture and History

The Niesky Museum presents the Moravian Church, the Niesky Pädagogium and Christoph & Unmack as three formative elements of the city’s history. It regularly presents special exhibitions by regional artists and members of the local heritage association. The museum also offers guided visits to important sites of the city’s history. Niesky’s protected town centre is formed by Zinzendorfplatz and its simple Baroque buildings. The Timber House Trail leads through Niesky’s settlements and uses information boards to explain Christoph & Unmack, their architects and their buildings.
