Culture and History

The Church of the Assumption of Mary in Leutersdorf was consecrated on 5 October 1862 after two years of construction. Oberleutersdorf Palace is described as one of the most distinctive late examples of the Baroque style in eastern Saxony. The palace in Leutersdorf was built in 1828/1829 under Pastor Noack.

At 452 metres, Wacheberg is the highest point in Leutersdorf. In good weather, it offers panoramic views over the surrounding area.
