Kreba-Neudorf: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Local History Nature Trail runs through all the districts of Kreba-Neudorf and through the typical heath and pond landscape of Upper Lusatia. It comprises seven themed trails and a cycling route. Nature

The three circular routes of the nature trail cover around 14 kilometres in total and can be explored on foot or by bicycle. Kreba is described as a heathland village with a park rich in trees and water, pond embankments, forest paths lined with heathland, and a diverse range of flora and fauna.

Along the routes, interactive stations introduce children and adults to local history, habitats and biological diversity. Circular Route 1 is a 5.5-kilometre route connecting Kreba and Neudorf via five themed trails. It is signposted in both directions and can be explored in individual stages. Circular Route 2 leads over 3.5 kilometres through the castle park to the Kreba pond group.

Circular Route 3 is a 5-kilometre cycling route connecting Kreba with Lache and Tschernske. At the Schwarze Lache station, Circular Route 3 includes an interpretive stop presenting the characteristics of Kreba's fish farming.

Culture

The “Gasthof zur Krone” rest and play area in the centre of Kreba combines art, village history and play for visitors. Neudorf's village square also has an accessible entrance, a book exchange station, bicycle racks and a table tennis table.

Parking is available at the starting points of the nature trail, in Kreba village centre and on Schmiedeweg in Kreba.

Getting There

Mücka offers connections to bus 501 and the RB64 railway line towards Hoyerswerda, Niesky and Görlitz. Kreba and Neudorf are served daily by accessible bus line 70; both districts have bus stops.
