Rittersgrün’s mining heritage includes more than 60 former mines. Preserved features include the entrance to the Rothe Adler adit, a powder tower and a mine office building. It also includes the Upper Rothen-Adler Adit, which was developed for visitors, and the Fuchsloch Adit in Ehrenzipfel.

Rittersgrün has a marked network of hiking trails. These include the cross-border Anton Günther Trail, the Pöhla–Rittersgrün educational mining trail with 29 stations, and a hike with three loops to local historic sites.
