Nature

Culture and History

The late Baroque castle in Schollene was built in 1752 by the von Printzen family. The restored Schollene post mill was built in 1845 and can be visited. It serves as a viewing point and offers views over Lake Schollene and the surrounding landscape. The grounds of the Schollene post mill feature agricultural equipment as well as a horse gin built in 2011.

The Schollene Museum Barn is housed in a renovated former barn in the town center. It presents local life, agriculture, regional nature, crafts, trades, and the history of the municipality. It also covers the development of crafts, agriculture, forestry, fishing, and shipping in the surrounding area.

Things to Do

The Haveland Cycle Route passes through Schollene on its route between Berlin-Spandau and Havelberg. The cycle path is predominantly paved and flat. There is a bathing area on the Havel, and water sports enthusiasts are welcome.
