Langendorf: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The historic village church stands on a small hill in Langendorf. It was built between 1146 and 1186 in the late Romanesque style. Its notable features include a carved baptismal font from 1692 and an organ built by Johann Michael Böhme in 1822.

Culture

Langendorf preserves well-preserved half-timbered houses along Luckaer Straße. Additional village character can be found around Am Anger and in the two areas locally known as “the two corners”.

The historic surroundings also include the former site of the Phönix coal-fired power plant near Staschwitz. The site ceased operations in 2013 and was subsequently transformed into a nature reserve.
