The castle near the Saar in Rehlingen is associated with the noble von Hausen family. The St. Willibrord Chapel in Siersdorf is described as an important historic monument; the parish church and castle in Itzbach are also described as important historic monuments.
Fremersdorf Castle is a Baroque palace complex built around an inner courtyard from 1775 onward. The surviving keep of Siersberg Castle is almost 14 m high and dates from the 14th century.
From the tower of Siersberg Castle, visitors can look out over the Saar and Nied valleys and see the Lorraine hills to the west.
