Hiking
The moderate circular hike “Around Apfelstein” is 11.1 km long and takes about three hours; it can begin or end at Daubach village square. Above Daubach, the route offers views towards Höchst and leads through the protected Stelzenbach meadows, the forest, the Stelzenbach and the Erbenmühle.

From Montabaur, Daubach can be reached via the VRM and bus route 458. Free parking is available at the village square near the exit towards Horbach.
At or near the local heritage house, the seasonal Daubach village café serves homemade cakes, coffee, tea or hot chocolate, cold non-alcoholic drinks and ice cream on Sundays and public holidays from 1 May to 3 October, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
