The Buchfinkenland Nordic Walking Park extends over approximately 50 km and comprises seven interconnected routes with varying levels of difficulty. Nassau Nature Park also has around 290 km of long-distance hiking trails and more than 750 km of regional hiking trails.

Culture and History

Local historical sights include the Wendelinus Chapel from 1808 in the village center, renovated half-timbered houses, the Heiligenhäuschen field chapel from 1883, and a monument on the road to Welschneudorf.

The Buchfinkenlandhalle in Hübingen is a venue for concerts, celebrations, carnival events, and theatrical performances. The historic charcoal burners’ hiking trail between Hübingen and Winden follows in the footsteps of the charcoal burners and includes a reconstructed mine entrance.

On the edge of the forest, the Hübingen Family Holiday Village offers family-oriented experiences as well as special programs for youth groups and senior citizens.

The Wasser.Wiesen.Wolken themed trail around the Hübingen Family Holiday Village is 4.5 km long and combines hiking with learning about nature. It was designed for children and features three stations that explain water, soil, and air in a playful way.

Getting There and Connections

Regular bus services operate between Hübingen and Montabaur. Hübingen is located around 13 km from the ICE train station in Montabaur. The A3 motorway between Cologne and Frankfurt can be reached after approximately 10 km via the Diez/Nentershausen and Montabaur interchanges.
