Edenkoben: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Edenkoben has an extensive collection of buildings from the Gründerzeit and the turn of the century, most of which were built from dressed red sandstone. The older building stock includes houses dating from the mid to late 16th century and from the 18th century.

The Museum of Viticulture and Town History is housed in the former home of monastery administrator Konrad Winkelblech and displays original winemaking equipment, historic cooperage, and other local crafts.

The Edenkoben Wine Education Trail is presented by local wine royalty and explains the grape varieties cultivated in the area. An early record from Lorsch dating from 769 documents viticulture in Edenkoben. In the Southern Wine Route region, wine festivals, culinary events, regional markets, the almond blossom in spring, and chestnut specialties in autumn are part of the tourist offering.
