The 8-kilometre-long 7-Gorges Trail in Erdesbach starts and ends in the village centre, where an information board marks the route. The trail leads through a protected natural area and reaches a ridge with panoramic views. It runs mainly along natural paths, covers around 310 metres of elevation gain and requires a certain level of fitness as well as suitable footwear.

The Veldenz Hiking Trail leads down to Erdesbach before reaching the Wartekopf nature reserve. The Kimmelingschlucht gorge forms the boundary between Erdesbach and Ulmet. It includes a small waterfall and separates the Erdesbach Rummelswald from the Ulmet Rummelswald.

Eseltour Erdesbach offers donkey hikes that allow visitors to explore the landscape of the Palatinate uplands at a relaxed pace. These include short, low-barrier valley paths suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. One version of the donkey tour crosses the Wartekopf over approximately 10 kilometres and with 250 metres of elevation gain.

On the Way
The Glan flows through Erdesbach. The draisine tour follows the former railway line from Lauterecken to Altenglan through the village, passing the old Erdesbach station along the way.
History and Culture
The Café Veldenzer Mühle displays a historic classroom and a miniature world. Erdesbach was first mentioned in a document in 1364. The former school building contains school desks, blackboards and other historical objects associated with the former school.
The 7-Gorges Trail passes the old Erdesbach mill with its weir and a fish ladder built in 2013.
