Oberhambach: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

History

The Petersquelle and Sauerbrunnen spring complex was reopened to visitors in 2015. The site includes an information area dedicated to water. Water has been collected at Sauerbrunnen and Petersquelle for more than 2,000 years. Written evidence of bathing operations at the site dates back to the late 15th century; a bathhouse was completed in 1791. There is also a watercourse with modern play equipment.

Nature

Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park is located directly next to the site of Petersquelle and Sauerbrunnen. The Zauberwald Route is described as easy to walk and has only a few somewhat more challenging sections. In the Hunsrück, Zauberwald is classified as a premium hiking trail.
