History
The St Lawrence Chapel was first mentioned in official records in 1569. It invites hikers and visitors interested in the local wine landscape to pause there.
The ferry towers document the operation of a pontoon ferry in Trittenheim from around 1829 to 1908/09. At the same time, they are the only surviving pair of ferry towers on the Moselle between Perl and Koblenz.
Roman sarcophagi near Trittenheim belong to a burial site discovered in the Trittenheimer Apotheke vineyard and dated to around AD 375.
