Weinschenke Felsenstübchen serves the winery's wines as well as a wide selection of hot and cold dishes.

Nature and culture

The narrow Nahe gorge near Schloßböckelheim features distinctive rock formations. Schloßböckelheimer Heide lies within the porphyry mountain region of Münster am Stein. The Nahe valley narrows considerably near Felsenberg in the area of Schloßböckelheim.

Visitors can explore the ruins of Böckelheim Castle, enjoy a viewpoint overlooking the Nahe valley, and hike to the Heimberg Tower, which offers views of the surrounding area. The Nahe hiking trail and the Hildegard von Bingen Pilgrimage Trail pass directly by the Felsenberghof wine and guest house. A signposted circular hiking trail to the Heimberg Tower starts at the hiking car park by the cemetery in Schloßböckelheim. The viewing platform of the Heimberg Tower offers a 360-degree panorama stretching from the Soonwald across the Taunus to the North Palatine Uplands and the Donnersberg. The circular trail around the Heimberg Tower includes around seven stations focusing on the characteristic animal and plant life of the Heimberg.

The first documented mention of Schloßböckelheim is generally considered to be a document dated February 16, 824. At the end of 1105, Henry V had his father Henry IV imprisoned in Ingelheim and brought to Böckelheim Castle, where he was held captive. Böckelheim Castle is one of the oldest castles in the Nahegau region. The castle site can be visited at any time. In 1688, Böckelheim Castle was destroyed on the orders of the French.
