Hiking and Nature
Pracht has four signposted hiking trails. Their changes in direction are marked with colored arrows, and all routes can be walked in both directions. A local forest loop marked in yellow is approximately 8.7 km long, runs mainly through the forest around Hassel, and begins at the parking lot of the Hohegrete forest sports facility. The Hohegrete loop, marked in blue, is approximately 5 km long and starts at the Eckenstell shelter in Wickhausen. The red loop connecting the villages is approximately 5.7 km long and begins at the playground on the village square in Pracht.
Railway
In the district of Wickhausen, Pracht has a stopping point on the Au (Sieg)–Altenkirchen line; Au (Sieg) is designated as the nearest railway station.
History
Mining was already in operation in Pracht in the 12th century. More than 50 mines and mining fields are recorded; the former headframe of the Hohegrete mine became a local landmark.
