Neunkirchen: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Neunkirchen is a municipality in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. For guests wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Neunkirchen, the municipality itself is the starting point: it is nestled in a low mountain landscape and has a forest coverage of 70 percent.
Nature
The Mahlscheid nature reserve extends across Neunkirchen and the town of Herdorf-Daaden. A former basalt crater near Malscheid, also called Mahlscheid, is likewise located nearby; it filled with water and formed Lake Silbersee. The Hohenseelbachskopf is a lava dome with a large crater and remains of tall basalt columns.
