Churches dating from the 13th century

The church in Fahrenwalde is a fieldstone building dating from the 13th century. Its massive proportions make it look like a fortress. The church in the district of Bröllin also dates from this period, but has a different appearance as a small fieldstone church. It has a recessed chancel, which is narrower than the rest of the building. The medieval roof structure and medieval bricks in the chancel add to its architectural details.
