Culture and History

In 1815, Mölschow became a domain; in 1824, it was auctioned as the Royal Mölschow Vorwerk. In 1929, a major fire destroyed almost the entire estate and nine farms.

The name Mölschow is thought to derive from the lake “Molcekowe”, which was first mentioned in a historical document and lies to the north.
