Hiking
The Holtriem Hiking Trail crosses the 7°30′ east meridian in Neuschoo and is approximately 48 km long. It passes through the appealing landscapes of Holtriem, runs away from the main roads, and is well signposted. For exploring the trail in sections, it can be left in any village. It is also equipped with shelters and information boards.
History
The chapel in Neuschoo was consecrated on 31 May 1869 and given the name Bethlehem Church. Its bricks came from the neighboring Neuschoo brickworks. Franz Klüsner was the first preacher in Neuschoo from 1869 to 1872. In 1975, the church in Neuschoo received a larger entrance hall. Neuschoo is affiliated with a United Methodist church district known as Neuschoo/Aurich.

Therapeutic Horse Riding East Frisia has four horses available for its therapeutic riding program and offers therapeutic riding in Neuschoo for children, teenagers, and adults. The Voßhörnerhof offers guided rides and Western riding lessons. The Goldenstein Pony Farm offers a leisure program with animals.
