The Wietzen Heimatstube is a rural local history museum. Spread across three buildings and an outdoor area with a cottage garden, its approximately 700 m² display more than 6,700 exhibits. Topics range from prehistoric finds and rural working life to domestic culture, agricultural equipment, and traditional crafts. This broad range gives you different ways to explore: you can learn about both earlier ways of life and rural work and the tools used for it. Visits are possible by prior arrangement.
