Nieder-Werbe: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

History

During the construction of the Eder Dam between 1908 and 1914, ten farms and the former church in Nieder-Werbe had to make way for the reservoir. Tourism then developed in the village. Those wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Nieder-Werbe can continue their search for accommodation afterwards.

Cycling

The Edersee Cycle Route 1 is a moderately difficult 27.9 km circular tour. It starts and ends at the Waldeck-Nieder-Werbe car park and follows the valleys of the Werbe and Reiherbach streams.

The road connection to Nieder-Werbe is described as running via the B485 and the junction with the L3200 in Sachsenhausen. The Waldeck-Niederwerbe bus stop is served by routes 503, 510 and 510.2.
