The Ludwig Leichhardt Museum offers guided tours, a monthly events program and the revived Leichhardt circular walking trail, which is about 11 km long. The Bridge Between Trebatsch and Sabrodt
Until 1928, a wooden drawbridge stood between Trebatsch and Sabrodt. It was replaced by an 81 m-long reinforced-concrete bridge with a roadway 5.20 m wide. The reinforced-concrete bridge was blown up in 1945 and rebuilt in 1956; the bridge was completely reconstructed in 1992–93. This sequence charts the change from wood to reinforced concrete, followed by destruction, rebuilding and later reconstruction. The length and roadway width give a sense of the scale of the replacement bridge at the time.
