Krausnick-Groß Wasserburg: Bergspreewald and Waterways

Forested hills and far-reaching views

The Krausnick Hills, also known as the Bergspreewald, rise within the municipality’s forested landscape. The Wehlaberg reaches around 144 metres above sea level (NHN); at 144.1 metres, it is the highest elevation. The Unterspreewald lies to the east, around 100 metres lower than the hills.
