Hiking trails on the Großer Kornberg

In the Großer Kornberg area, well-marked and maintained hiking trails follow forest roads and woodland paths. The Nordweg and Höhenweg both cross the summit. Remembrance at the town pond

At the town pond, the emigrants’ memorial commemorates around 400 emigrants from Kirchenlamitz and their descendants’ enduring connection to the town in the Fichtelgebirge. The memorial was inaugurated in 2025. Alongside nature and granite, it offers a focus on local history and draws attention to the descendants’ connection with Kirchenlamitz.
