Sankt Heinrich: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

At the southern end of Lake Starnberg, Sankt Heinrich offers the Karnifflbach bathing area with a large sunbathing lawn and bathing jetty next to the local DLRG water rescue station. Those wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Sankt Heinrich can then continue their search for accommodation.

Water

The bathing area on the Wirtsbach in Sankt Heinrich has a shallow pebble beach, a launching area for sailboats and adjacent windsurfing lessons with board rental; a campsite is also located directly next to it. Culture

The former pilgrimage church of Sankt Heinrich developed from the cell of a hermit associated with Blessed Heinrich. A stone church was built at the beginning of the 14th century and consecrated in 1324.

Inside the former pilgrimage church, the high altar still displays a Vesperbild from the 15th century. There is also a stone tomb monument created for Blessed Heinrich in 1626, as well as Late Rococo stucco in the choir.

Hirschberg Castle on Haarsee is located in the vicinity of Sankt Heinrich, as is the Church of the Visitation of Mary. Villa Rustica Leutstetten and Schwaneck are located in the wider surrounding region.
