At Kirchplatz 6 stands the former residential tower of a moated castle. The three-storey sandstone building has a core dating from the first half of the 13th century. The partially restored former residential tower of Dachsbach’s moated castle is sometimes used for art events; otherwise, it is not open to visitors. The moated castle at Kirchplatz 6 is also one of the venues for the “Art in Dachsbach” event.

The Evangelical Lutheran parish church of St. Mary also tells the story of different periods of construction.
