History

Langensendelbach is a municipality in the Forchheim district and in the administrative region of Upper Franconia. It was first mentioned in a document dated 13 July 1062, in which Langensendelbach was documented as a donation to the Diocese of Bamberg. Since the secularisation of 1803, Langensendelbach has belonged to Bavaria. The parish church is known for a Baroque high altar and a Steinmeyer organ.
