Hiking at Oberilzmühle and along the Ilz
The Oberilzmühle hiking car park can be reached from Salzweg or Straßkirchen by car via a signposted local connecting road. The hike at Oberilzmühle follows a well-maintained trail back to the car park. Allow around 1½ hours and about 3.5 kilometres for this route.
The approximately 70-kilometre Ilztal Hiking Trail is also recommended for hikes in Salzweg.
