Fishing and local history
The Franconian Fisheries Museum at Hauptstraße 130 in Bischberg is a small local history museum focused on fishing, established by volunteers. It features carved miniatures illustrating local history and also has an information room for short films and talks. The museum thus brings together a local subject focus and different ways of presenting it.
The Lower Castle also offers a glimpse into the town's history. The present building was built in 1743 by Carl Maximilian Zollner von Brand to mark his marriage. The castle passed into private hands in 1821. Various events organized by Bischberg associations are held there regularly, placing the building's history and association events side by side.
The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Mark in Bischberg is a listed church building. The present building was completed in 1979 and is the fourth church on this site.
