Geographical Location
Immenstadt i.Allgäu is located in the Allgäu region in southwestern Bavaria between Kempten and Oberstdorf. The town center is situated at approximately 729 meters above sea level.
Nature
Immenstadt stretches along the eastern shore of the Großer Alpsee. The lake covers an area of 2.47 km² and borders a nature reserve.
The Großer Alpsee is used by residents of the surrounding towns and by tourists as a local recreation area. For visitors interested in local recreation in Immenstadt, the Großer Alpsee is therefore a specific point of reference.
