A massive lime tree stands by the historic vicarage and is estimated to be around 700 years old. At the Durach Village Museum, the Lingg local history collection explores rural life in the 19th and 20th centuries. The village museum is located at Feldweg 1. The ruins of Neuenburg Castle lie southeast of Durach on a wooded hill spur in the Oberallgäu district of Bavarian Swabia.
