Between the Old Towns and Across the Rhine

At around 6.6 kilometres, the route is considerably shorter than the 20-kilometre Anniversary Trail, but it offers experiences of its own: stops along the way invite you to take part, try things out and learn through play.
The character of each route can also help you compare them. The Laufenburg EIGHT runs mostly along unpaved paths and also includes stairs and suspension bridges. Along the way, there are views of the Rhine and the two old towns. Rest stops such as benches and sun loungers on the banks of the Rhine invite you to take a break. Cultural Days on Both Sides of the Border
The cross-border Laufenburg Cultural Days, “Flowing Borders,” feature concerts, theatre, art exhibitions, cabaret, jazz, tango and culture for children.
