Village History in the Market Square
A village fountain stands in Aglasterhausen’s market square. Master stonemason Jakob from Gundelfingen created it from red sandstone in 1985. Its four rounded sections are each 2.20 metres long and evoke a four-leaf clover. Each segment is dedicated to one of Aglasterhausen’s districts. The shape and dedication go hand in hand: the fountain reflects the districts in its design.

The St. Matthäus Aglasterhausen library also brings culture and community involvement together. It is located at Ostlandstraße 27, beneath the Catholic church.
